Looking at my Gucci its about that time 6 bad broads flying in at 9
New Suburban truck with the paint job showin'
Black and white and red and gold and
Bodies on the Roadster Lexus
You know with that hard top beamer
Mommy thats your truck
I'm coming up the hood been lovely
New shoes on the whip and I wake up the bubbley
430 lex with convertible top
the rims keep spinning every time I stop
I got a superman Benz that I scored from shaq
With a old school Caddy with a diamond in the back

Within this breadown, the artist is talking about his cars. He begins talking about the mercedes benz and how it is decked out following with the impala with roaring pipes in which he is drinking by [' drinkin that hen......' -hennessy, alcoholic beverage-] He claims to be the birdy bird man, obiously named for being so flyy in relation to wings/flying.; in which he would drink in it again. When he talks about getting into the cadillac truck he talks about 24's [big rims] with 10's [drugs/ 10mg] Following with 'looking at my gucci, it's about that time,' he is referring to his gucci interior and getting into his ride and all of a sudden [six bad broads flying in at 9] 6 hoes are coming up to his left. Later he begins to talk about the paint job on his new suburban and the body work of his roadstar lexus that has a hard top which he gave to his mom i am assuming considering he said 'mommy, that's your truck.' He then talks about 'coming up the hood been lovely,' as in his mom provided well for him and he is setting out on his future probably recognizing what his mom has helped him with before he became famous. He then talks about 'new shoes on the whip' which in reference i think he is reffering to new rims/wheels? He ends the break down with the 430 lex and it's convertible top and the spinners on his rims keep spinning when he stops. Then he wraps up with talking about the car he got from shaq [basket ball star] and an old schol caddy [cadillac] with a diamond in the back.

overall, its about cars and possibly him visiting home giving his mom a roadster lexus when getting famous? Also just describing his ride[s] .

I'm beginning to wonder if the comment St. Thomas left on Post 3 isn't right on the money ... that's a lot of car to give your son no matter how much you love him. If it's not a question of where he gets his money, maybe we should be questioning where mom gets this money!

Another question I'd like to see you post on soon: is this song serious or fun? Is the artist really saying "this is how my life is" or "this is how life should be" or is he making up a character and poking fun at that character? Or something else completely. I think breaking down where the story is coming from like this could be really insightful.

Do you think the meaning of the song changes with the remake? (going along with Wiedbrauk)

I agree with your analysis. It makes a lot of sense. I would have never guessed that 10's would be 10 grams of drugs. It sounds nice to have all the cars someone could ever want. Then to give some to his mom. He sounds like a nice character. Sorry I couldn't give you something to work off of. I think you got the correct analysis for the lyrics
