Do you think the song is made for fun? Or is it true life?

When the Devil Wears Prada recreated the song 'still fly' originally created by Big Tymers, I will argue that the song has no relation to DWP's life. DWP was asked to put a song onto the Punk Goes Crunk CD along with other punk kind of bands. Each band selected, recieved a rap song to remake. DWP selected still fly and did what I believe is a phenomenal job. This song does not reflect DWP at all. This band isn't really in it for the cars, money and chicks; they more-so do it for the love of the music even though they benefit from their paycheck. DWP decided to create the song because it was an opportunity for them to have change of lyrics and sung about somthing they usually don't. Big Tymer, when creating the song did it for the fun and selected minimal parts of the song in which are true. He does have expensive cars and he did score one from shaq. Overall DWP just remade the song for fun.

I agree that DWP did the remake for fun in conglomeration with the other punk bands. It was a CD put together for fun and to entertain fans. And it is a very good CD! I like several the remakes more than the original songs
